Authentic Beauty: what do children and teens think about it?
One day, my 4 and a half year old daughter Giulia, explained to me why, in her opinion, one of her girlfriends was beautiful and the other one not. She explained to me that her aunt is beautiful because she makes her laugh and her grandfather plays tricks.
They are all beautiful to her.
Are we, adults and kids, talking about the same thing?
Were we like this when we were children and … when did all this change?
When did beauty pass from the ability to make us laugh to … perfect skin, a size 38 or sculpted abs?
In collaboration with the Slovakian colleague Lubica, founder of LubitsaStyling, we launched a survey dedicated to children and teenagers of the age group 2-18, on the theme of authentic beauty.
The goal is to understand how young people perceive beauty and encourage the development of a perspective beyond stereotypes.
If you want to share it with your family and those with children between 2 and 18 years old it would be fantastic! The questionnaire is for them, so don’t influence the answers if they can’t write them on their own.
Thanks for your contribution and we look forward to sharing the results!
