Andrew Bunar - Public Relations Specialist & Webmaster
Andrew Bunar was born in Massachusetts and grew up in small town just north of Boston. Before becoming involved in the world of business, Andrew had a different projected career path. As a child he was quite shy, but soon began to come out of his shell as he found a love for theatre and acting.
Initially, he would attend Wagner College where he received professional voice, acting, and dance training under the supervision of Theresa McCarthy (Titanic -Original Broadway Cast) & Alan Dornak (Voice Teacher) in addition to masterclasses with Christine Dwyer (Wicked – Broadway, Waitress National Tour) & and Matt DeAngelis (Waitress – Broadway & National Tour). His professional training was put on hold, as there was something more he sought to do.
Come late 2018, Andrew decided that he need to bridge his creative side with his business mindset and left Wagner, to attend Bentley University where he is currently finishing his bachelor of science degree in Marketing. Amidst all of this Andrew has continued to create while also gaining real world job experience. In 2017 he served at the Assistant House Manager, where he oversaw all daily operations of the theatre and collaborated with the Executive Director on several projects. He would later go on to work for Kathy Rochefort and her private PR firm, Rochefort & Associates. Here, Andrew gained invaluable skills while under Rochefort’s direction; he facilitated opening night events, managed press contacts, and even worked with movie star Faye Dunaway. Other work experience includes: The Elm Tree presented by Alight Theater Guild (Marketing Director), The Emerson Inn (Restaurant & Events Supervisor), and freelance brand ambassador (Mustard Lane LLC).
Currently, Andrew serves as the PR Specialist for Diversity Styling & VirgoImage. As an up and coming public relations and marketing professional, he looks to bring beauty into the world through creativity, knowledge, and acceptance. With the launch of Diversity Styling he hopes to shed light on not only the diversity within the fashion world, but every aspect of life as well. “Let’s create something beautiful together!”
